With over 30 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, and workforce training, Renée Johnson-Richter founded Third Coast Learning to empower organizations with innovative, evidence-based strategies for workplace skills development. Her expertise spans leadership roles at Fortune 200 companies, higher education, impactful regional initiatives like UpSkill Coastal Bend, and global thought leadership through IEEE ICICLE, making her a trusted authority in the learning and development (L&D) industry.

Renée bridges the gap between learning science and real-world application, offering customized solutions rooted in cutting-edge research. With advanced technical expertise in e-learning development and mastery of technologies like xAPI, Learning Record Stores (LRS), and learning analytics, she ensures organizations benefit from modern, data-driven training solutions that drive measurable results.

Her leadership and performance improvement qualifications include designing and implementing scalable corporate training programs, facilitating executive leadership workshops, and developing strategies that optimize workforce performance. By aligning learning initiatives with business objectives, Renée helps organizations achieve sustainable growth and long-term success.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Learning Sciences, Renée specializes in instructional design, educational technology, and 21st-century workplace skills development. Through Third Coast Learning, she is committed to helping businesses navigate workforce development challenges with innovative, evidence-based solutions that foster employee success and organizational excellence.
